For Point-of-Care Coordinators managing POC testing, such as finger stick glucose testing, AegisPOC provides fast and effective features to help you manage tests being received from the POC testing locations. AegisPOC exception rule processing allows you to look for the data that ensures positive patient identification, certified operator usages, critial values, required commenting and much more. Results without exceptions (not flagged) can be automatically passed to the LIS / HIS or EMR system. Results flagged with exceptions can be held for review by the POCC for correction or the results can be Delegated back to the original testing location for correction by the original test operator or a nurse manager.
